Stand Strong

Today at work I was listening to some of the songs I use in my ministry to children. I always try to listen well to the words, to evaluate each song for both its theological accuracy and understandability by children. I do not want to confuse these tender little minds with such misunderstand-able song lyrics as:
"Up from the gravy He arose."
or  "angels prostate fall"........
It's "angels prostrate fall", just in case you weren't sure.
Words are so important! One of the songs I was listening to today was titled "Stand Strong". I came to the conclusion that I really, really like this song for kids...and for me.... And I'm not afraid to admit it! These are the lyrics:

Careful what you say
Careful what you do
Dare to keep your head
Dare to keep your cool

Life can be distracting
Careful how your acting
Don't forget God lives in you

Stand strong
Hold on, even when it's tough
You've got to lean on God and He will lift you up
Stand strong
Hold on, even when it's hard
You've got to lean on Him and remember whose you are.
Stand strong

What wonderful, encouraging, and uplifting words! Who doesn't need to be reminded of these words every now and again? I know I do. In fact I needed reminded today.
So I thought to myself. "Self, if you needed reminding today, perhaps someone else needs reminding too."

So, here is your reminder:
